I am currently the Director of Learning for South Sarpy District 46.  I have been in education for 19 years.  I began my career as a secondary English teacher and taught at Platteview Central as an 8th grade teacher early in my career.   After receiving my masters in educational leadership, I have been a dean of students, a 9-10 principal, and a director of curriculum.  Five years ago, I had the opportunity to return to South Sarpy District 46 as the Director of Learning.  I am responsible for curriculum and assessment development, accreditation, professsional development, some personnel, and "other duties as assigned."  (:
